Now this is a story all about how my life got twisted upside down...

Hayy there boys and girls!!! do you know what time it is???? no, no, its not Adventure time with finn and jake!! It's time for another exciting blog post from Heather!!! well, maybe not so exciting, but interesting none the less! I will tell you of the story of the, for now, lone resident of The pLace.


if you haven't guessed it already the name's Heather. I'm a 21 year old Broadcasting Major at ULL. i currently live at The pLace by myself :'( but in a week or so i get a new roomie!! yays!!


i dont know why but i feel like making another list list or two... possibly three! so here goes nothing!!


My Loves


1: God. he is just... AWESOME!! I love Him so much and I'm so glad i found Him hiding behind my couch!! we have been BFF's since December of 2007 when i decided to devote my life to Him. It's all because of Him that my life is as amazing as it is right now. i thank Him everyday that He has given me such an amazing life.


2: My Family. they are possibly the craziest group of people i know in the entire world next to my friends, but i still love them with all my heart. my Mom's side is one big Italian Family kinda like the family on my Big Fat Greek Wedding except we're not Greek and we dont have Joey Fatone from Nsync. My Dad's side is pretty cool they're an army family mostly everyone has been in the army on his side.


3: My Friends. They are the most amazing group of people in the entire world!!! Molly, Lindsay, Claire, Morgan, Mollie, Tiffany, Stephen, Daniel, Cody, Wisinger, Caleb and Josh, I loves you all!! they all know the right thing to say whenever I'm down. and they always encourage me to do my best and be myself and to never let anyone make me do otherwise. we laugh together, make random trips to Wal-Mart together, cry together and watch Glee together... well maybe not so much all of us watch Glee together but most of us!


My Likes


1: Music is my life. it expresses me in ways words cant. if i didn't have music i would probably die... no really i probably would. one of my favorite sayings is "When words fail, Music Speaks" this is so true. sometimes i dont know how to express myself so i just put song lyrics as my Facebook status and people get it. i love music so much i was gonna be a music major but i dont know how to play any instruments that great, so i made it my minor!


2: Green Day. BEST BAND IN THE FREAKING WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!! yes Green Day. some of yall will say im obsessed but who can blame me? ive been listening to them since i was little. and im sorry for getting kind of deep-ish but if it wasn't for Green Day's American Idiot album, especially Wake me up when September ends, i wouldnt be here right now. American Idiot Made me realize after Katrina, that the world can be a sucky place sometimes, and even though your world can come crashing down in an instant, you just got to keep moving because eventually it will get better. and that Cody Wisinger is why Green Day is the best band in the world!


3: Horror movies. i am a horror movie junkie! i love getting freaked out! every Halloween i have a horror movie marathon even if no one comes over.


4: Japan. OMG JAPAN! i love every thing about Japan! the culture, the history, the Anime! before i die i will spend at least 2 months in Japan. im in the process of learning Japanese...from my Nintendo ds lol. i watch so much anime too! not as much as Molly but i think it's a fair amount. my favorites include The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, K-On!, Chi's Sweet Home, and mostly anything that is girly and adorable.


5: Video Games. i dont consider myself a hardcore gamer but i do like to play them especially Rock Band and Michael Jackson: The Experience. and every now and then i play rpg games like No More Heroes, Poke'mon, Mario, Brutal Legend, and i especially love playing the zombie game on Call of duty: Black Ops, i epicly fail at it though.


6: Sleep. i loves it! i wanna sleep like at least 15 hours every day but i know i cant because then i wouldnt have a life! but i do love my little catnaps, they're just awesome.


7:Musicals. Rocky Horror, The Producers, Repo the Genetic Opera. any kinda of musical i love it!


8: Johnny Depp. you all knew this one was coming... I freaking love this man, hes just awesome. i think hes one of the best actors out there. My favorite character he plays is Captain Jack Sparrow From Pirates of the Caribbean. (why you ask? its the guy-liner!) My friend Josh Hernandez does an amazing Capt. Jack impression!! me and Morgan get all giggly when he does it. and hes WAAAAAAYYY hotter than Brad Pitt.


9: Making Videos. hayy its part of my major! and plus i am also the video announcement team leader at Chi Alpha. which means i make commercials for all the upcoming events that are going on at Chi Alpha.


10: As stated in #8 Guy-Liner. I am a total sucker for this! but only certain guys can pull off this look. Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day and Johnny Depp are the best examples of guy-liner wearers. if a guy can look good with eye liner on I am sold! Just take me now! and we can go live in our own little punk rock eyeliner world!  teehee I'm a dork XD


My Dislikes


1: Chick flicks. i know there was probably a few WTF?'s that happened right there... i know, a girl who doesnt like chick flicks its almost in human. but i just can't stand them i'll take blood, gore and fighting over the whole kissy-kissy-use-a-whole-box-of-kleenex type movies. prime example of how much i dislike chick flicks: yall know that movie "a walk to remember" right? what was the part most girls cried on? **Spoiler alert** when Mandy Moore dies right? not me i thought the saddest part of the entire movie was when the Mustang was Wrecked. i actually did shed a tear or two when that happened.


2: Tomatoes. the UPA gang knows this. i spent most of lunch one day at leadership advance searching the sandwich table for a single sandwich with out tomatoes for over 10 minutes. i eat tomato sauce, ketchup, meat sauce, but give me a raw tomato on my sandwich and i freak out. i remember one time at mc Donald'd i forgot to tell them no tomatoes and i freaked out when i opened my sandwich to put ketchup on it. i freaked out so much i just yelled "get it off get it off!!" to Josh cause i dont even like touching them they just have the grossest texture in the entire world.


3: im pretty sure there's more things i dont like i just cant thing of them right now

-i am deathly afraid of spiders... yup full blown arachniphobia.
-i am slightly claustriphobic. i usuallysit on the end or right near the end of the row at worship services. but yet -i love being crammed up against the baricade almost touching the band at concerts.
-but besides being afraid of spiders and being scared of most tight spaces one of my biggest fears is going deaf. that would just be awful!!!! i wouldn't be able to hear all of my favorite bands... i wouldn't be able to listen to new music... (starts to hyper ventilate) i wouldn't be able to effectively converse with my friends... and worst of all (commence freaking out...) i wouldn't be able to hear Josh's Captain Jack Sparrow impression!!!! (NOW!) AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! OMG NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! THIS CANT HAPPEN!!! WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!! WAKE UP!!!! ok, ok, calm down Heather, its not gonna happen! just think about something else... umm... music... umm...Concerts... umm...Green Day! ok im better! :-) ummmmmm...lets just move on to something else...... 
- i have also decided to ward off getting into bf/gf type relationships with boys for a while, only a few people know the date when my boy exodus is over. I'm doing this because i really need to focus on school and growing in my realationship with God. and plus i am newly single from a 3year relationship so yea i just need this.




well i guess we might just end it here for today.... first realy blog post tomorrow!!
