Below freezing again!!!! What The Freak?!?!?!?!?!? I think Punxsutawney Phil, the weather predicting groundhog, might have gotten his prediction wrong! but thats beside the fact.
i'm going home today, for the first time since the semester started. it feels kind of odd. like i kinda wanna go but not really. i guess im sort of getting to the point of "im an adult, i dont need to go home every weekend, i've made my place in Lafayette." but then again i really do miss my family and like i said i havent seen them in a while. thats the main reason im going home
i also realized another reason of why i do need to go home... i need my birth certificate.. lol. why you may ask? im going to Germany on a missions trip this summer. i cant wait! were gonna go to the University of Berlin and help out the branch of Chi Alpha there.
Speaking of upcoming mission trips.... I found out where im going for MGO!!! (Mardi Gras Outreach, for all you non-Chi Alphans) I'm going to Texas A&M-Commerce!!! WOOT!!! GEAUX LIONS!!!! omg can't wait!!! i know our team leaders are Kelly (one of my Life Group leaders) and Charlie (one of the Interns). i just found out that the team consists of Daja Williams, Jess Mahoney, Trey Delcambre, Greg Feast, Brandi Davis, Stephen Prudhomme Nadine (dont know her last name cause she doesnt have a facebook) and Mary Vickers! cant wait for Training Day to get to know everyone on the team better, and also help Texas A&M Commerce get to know God better!
