i went to whataweekend!!! and it was awesome!!

o man what a weekend

i started off by dropping Wisinger off in Ponchatoula (that's how you spell it Cody) then headed to the Chalmation Nation! aka Chalmette. man do i miss being down there. it's such a quaint little city. full of churches, little neighborhoods, daiquiri shops, an IHOP, green space and a Wal-Mart. i really do miss living down there. but i think i might have caught a little of the Katrina Flu while i was there because of the mold and refinery smoke... dont worry its not the real flu its just what they call the coughing that happens when ever you go to St. Bernard for a short period of time and come back hacking up a lung. lol

went and had a girls night with Molly and it was epic! went and rented Easy A and then ran to walgreens and picked up Yoo-Hoo's and bags of chocolate. (yea were chocoholics)

saturday was good, went to Lakeside (the mall) and got me a new wallet and some more urban decay eyeliner. (yay!!)  pizza with the rents and then we watched the sorcerer's apprentice, it was pretty good. then we watched the last little bit of saturday night live and made fun of chris brown for being a Johnny-Cash-Michael-Jackson-Usher-Marvin-Gaye wannabe. after watched a little documentary segment about Pope John Paul II's visit to New Orleans.

while this documentary segment was going on my Dad says "look its the pope-mobile" and then me and my mom proceed to sing the old batman theme and say "Pope-Man!!!!" o man i have never laughed that hard with my parents in a really long time

went to try a new church this weekend. its called Church of the King, its in Covington (thanks Josh for the suggestion!!) i think i finally found a home church in Mandeville!! i went to like 4 different ones over the Christmas break but i never really liked them. and i had that song that goes "our God is greater, Our God is stronger God you are higher than any other!" stuck in my head all morning and the first song they play is that one so i took it as a sign that this is the church that i should call home when im in Mandeville. yays!!

Chicken and gravy!!! OM NOM NOM!  thats what we had for supper (yes supper, cause its in between lunch and dinner.) and now im headed back to Lafayette for another fun filled school week!!! (sant you just smell the sarcasm reeking from that last sentence) but then again with all my friends it will be fun filled! especially thursday!!! yay!!! Winter Jam!!!! cant wait!!!

o and sorry i didnt post yesterday i was just busy catching up and goofing off with my parents. dont worry ill be posting daily again starting today!
